Here are some pictures of Chanel's pre-fall 2012 collection, where Karl Lagerfeld turned to India for inpiration!  For someone who has never been to India, "It's much more inspiring not to go to places than to go," it is incredible what he has created, and he managed a spectacular replica converting the Grand Palais into a corner of Rajasthan.
