The Show’s Day 1: NYFW Fall/Winter 2014 Oscar de la Renta

My first day in NYC I worked two shows.  The first one was Naeem Khan at Lincoln Center the second one was Oscar de la Renta, which was held at his showroom close to Bryant Park.  There was so much going on between the models getting their hair and makeup done, the hussle and bussle of the production team setting up for the show and us the Wardrobe dept getting organized to dress the models in their looks.  All the guests came up the same elevators as we did to the show so we got to see who was attending.  This was my first experience getting to see Anna Wintour and Andre Leon Tally.  I was across the room and she was right there in front of me on her phone.

I tried but couldn’t find any pictures of me backstage, but this type of show is very different from those at Lincoln Center, press is much more limited to the runway.
