One of my favorite designers during New York fashion week to watch is Marchesa. Not just because one of the first designer dresses I ever bought was from this designer. The clothes are always so whimsical and romantic. The collection is like a work of art, always unique and on their own path Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig put out stunning pieces. This collection I have to admit is not my favorite. As always the collection is very detailed, and the embroidery impeccible but it's just not wow for me. Still staying true to their esthetic it dissapoints, especially the red gown which is a bit unoriginal for me. I did have the pleasure to work the FW 2014 collectino which was stunning and had the chance to be mere feet away from the designers as they did last minute touches to the dresses before they went out on the runway. I still adore the designer and just because this collection missed the mark for me I will still be waiting in awe of what they will put out next!
