One of my favorite designers is Oscar de la renta, when I worked in the buying office of Holt Renfrew I used to be the Assistant Buyer for Designer Collections and ODLR was always my favorite. Each season I would impatiently wait for the collection to hit style.com. The dresses were always so pretty and girly. Unfortunately I never got to meet him when he came to the Holt's Bloor St. store, that was after I left the company. But I did have the pleasure of working the show last Fall at the ODLR head office across from Bryant Park. It was an experience I will never forget to be able to be there at the office, to she Mr. Oscar de la renta himself he looked older and more frail than he did on tv. I also got the chance to see Anna Wintour, Andre Leon Tally and Karlie Kloss it was a memory i will hold dearly on to and a career high!
