As the host of Fashion Television for the past 25 years, the newly thin (she just lost 20lbs on a new diet) Jeanne Beker has just launched her new clothing line "Edit" which will be exclusively available across 65 Bay stores accross Canada. The 25-piece collection comprises style staples designed to help women transition from work to an evening out. Symbolic of the mix-and-match approach, tunics, wool sweaters, boyfriend jackets and cardigans can be paired with knee-length skirts, leggings, jeggings and jeans in the line. Outerwear peices include luxe faux-fur coats, camel cape jackets and boiled wool coats. She says "These pieces are for women who really want to wear clothes, who don't want the clothes to wear them — for women who really have a strong sense of their own style," Jeanne Beker's previously designed a limited time only clothing line for Eaton's in 2001, and a line of bodywear sold at Sears Canada in the fall of 2003. She was also the Editor-in-Chief of the shortly lived FQ magazine. We're excited and can't wait to see the collection pieces from Edit range from about $80 to $195.
