Kate Moss was out in London yesterday signing bottles of her new perfume Vintage Muse. Rather than debut her launch at Selfridges or Harrods she opted to choose Boots, the British equivalent to our Shoppers Drug Mart. She arrived to greet fans wearing black jeans, a T-shirt and a cropped Chanel jacket the epitomy of style. Members of the crowd who wore the best vintage outfit won £500 of shopping vouchers and a photo with the supermodel. The perfume is said to be 'A floral musk; the notes include plum, rhubarb, blackcurrant cream, peony, violet, tiger orchid, white musk, ambergris and chocolate. ''A beautifully elegant yet sexy fragrance that reflects Kate’s muti-faceted charm." (source) The bottle is inspired by Kate's love of the 1920s and 1930s, in an amethyst-tinted antique style bottle. Seems that fans still can't get enough of Kate, now that her collaboration with Top Shop has ended she is still pulling in the crowds with her perfume venture. Still a dominant force in the fashion world, she was recognized by Vogue magazine in their Best Dressed Of The Year Issue as the Best Dressed Of The Decade. Hopefully she will find as much success with her fragrances as she did with her clothing line.
