• Did You Know SJP Has A New Shoe Line!

If you didn’t already know well you do now!  Photos of Sarah Jessica Parker’s Shoe Collection Are Here (Including ‘The Carrie’)Check them out below my faves are “The Alison”.  Don’t expect them to be a steal, they’re definitely on the higher-end of pricey but still less than any designer shoe you will find.  They also seem to be on the side of Carrie that was more conservative, rather than her more daring, fashion forward outfits.

Glamour magazine has just issued a preview of the line in its February issue, and it seems to have something for everyone: lace-up booties, strappy sandals with a flower appliqué, ballet flats and, of course, sexy t-strap pumps — called “The Carrie” — that Carrie Bradshaw would die for.  This is SJP’s first ever shoe collection so the anticipation is overwhelming, it will be shocking if we even get to see them live before they’re all snatched up by die-hard SATC fans!

The Lady: "This shoe is polite and old-fashioned. It suits a wide range of women with its simple silhouette." ($350)

“With classic shapes perfect for work, and modern details (the ribbon on the heel is a nod to those her mom tied in her hair when she was little), the line—SJP, sold exclusively at Nordstrom—makes good on her Sex and the City character’s belovedly quirky style.”

The Etta: "This one is for short ladies like me! I made the T-strap lower to lengthen the leg.” ($425)

Parker even credits Carrie Bradshaw as her muse: “I’m privileged that I played her,” she says. “I was exposed to so many beautiful shoes and to how they’re made. That role really cemented my love.”

The Carrie: “Carrie is obviously one of my favorite people, and this is an ode to her. It’s a strong shoe that can be worn for day and night.” ($355)

So: canvas flats, strappy four-inchers, sexy lace-up boots—what do they have in common? Their versatility. “I’m allergic to the idea that certain shoes are for certain occasions,” says Parker

The Billie: "I imagine every woman in these. They're comfy and chic, especially with the low-cut front." ($195)

“Or that neutrals can only be black or brown. It’s too limiting. And as (SATC’s Costume Designer) Pat Field taught me, toss out any rules. I sure did.”

"The Alison: This is for the girl who doesn't want to wear a traditional ladylike heel but wants a bit of height." ($485)
