• Toronto Fashion Week / Hilary MacMillan Fall 2014

060
One of the last show’s I attended was Hilary MacMillan.  I loved the silhouettes, the plaids and the cutout back dress.  She stands out from most of the Toronto show’s by offering a sense of luxury to her clothes, but still making them wearable.
“Hilary MacMillan is a Toronto based womenswear designer. Her self-titled brand was founded early 2012 with a focus on creating wearable designs for the urban modern woman. She creates effortless style with the aesthetics of flattering silhouettes, and modern femininity with a retro feeling. The use of color and prints is a design stable seen consistently throughout her seasons.”

Hilary is a Canadian design label, she designs, sources, and manufacturers all of her pieces locally allowing her to have total control over all areas of production.
