Seems like ex-girlfriend Kate Moss's fashion savy has rubbed off on "Old Pete". Yet no stranger to fashion himself, "Doherty was once a muse to designer, Hedi Slimane, and appeared in Roberto Cavalli's 'His and Hers' autumn/winter 2007 campaign, with then-girlfriend Kate Moss".(source) Luxury jewellery designer Hannah Martin and Babyshambles singer, Pete Doherty launched a collaborative jewellery line at Joseph 's Westbourne Grove store in England on Dec 1. Looking surprisingly well put together wearing a brown shearling coat and oversized checkered scarf, the musician and artist unveiled his 'Albion Trinketry' collection. The line was inspired by his his love of antiques and trinkets, in a 15-piece collection of cufflinks, rings, pins, chains and watch fobs that are vintage-inspired, but have a modern twist. "Using oxidised silver, rose gold and black diamonds the range is made up of hand-carved discs and military-inspired crosses, slung on multi-strand or single heavy chains. the mammoth tusk pendants, for example, are a tribute to a room in his house that he has devoted entirely to elephants."(source) Martin has made quite a name for herself and launched her own jewellery line 5 years ago and has worked with jewellery giant Cartier and Givenchy. The jewellery line is more luxe than affordable with prices ranging from $850 to $17,450. The turnout of media was quite impressive with renowned fashion reporter Susie Menkes in attendance.
